THREE-PIECE OIL CONTROLLING RINGS

These rings, consisting of an expansion spring and two lamellae, work by pressing the gap and the expansion spring against the cylinder wall. These rings have chrome plated and nitrided working surfaces. Nitrided models have better wear properties between the working surfaces and the spring and lamellae. These types of rings are generally used in gasoline passenger vehicle groups.
