RING TYPES

Piston rings are designed in different types and coating features according to their usage and functions. Rings used in the top ring groove are called compression rings and are the most basic elements used both to create pressure and provide sealing during combustion.

Rings used in the second ring groove are called striping rings and help the compression ring to remove excess oil remaining on the wall for the oil ring.

It can be used more than one according to the piston design.

Rings, called the ring oil rings used in the third ring groove, are specially designed rings that provide lubrication that should be between the piston and the liner during the cycle. Oil rings can also be used more than one according to the piston design.
